David Rubin
David has lived in the Sarasota community for almost
20 years. He taught 2nd, 3rd, and 5th grade children in the NYC school system and, years later, was the director of a residential adolescent drug rehab program in Manhattan. He went on to a career as a management consultant and trainer in the areas of communication and leadership for such companies as Hewlett Packard, Microsoft, American Express, Pfizer and Bank of Montreal. Upon arriving in Sarasota, he started a family business in the health and wellness sector, and now employs a staff of fifteen in a 23,000 sf office warehouse complex. He has a deep passion for education and how it supports the vision of a healthy community.
